Free Resources
Here you will find many insurance resources relating to many aspects of the insurance industry. These resources include:
- AAMGA NRRA Compliance Guide
The AAMGA NRRA Compliance Guide is intended to provide the basic information surplus lines brokers need to understand how to comply with state surplus lines regulatory requirements in light of the NRRA, the newly-revised state laws and regulations (in states that have acted to conform their laws to the NRRA), and current laws and regulations (in states that have not conformed their laws to the NRRA). The Guide provides an explanation of the NRRA’s reforms, how they interact with state laws, and what brokers need to do to comply. - Industry Links for Underwriters

The Glossary of Insurance and Risk Management Terms was first published by IRMI in 1978 to help those within and outside the insurance industry to communicate effectively. It has been continuously updated and expanded since the original publication and, with definitions of more than 3,200 risk and insurance terms, is probably the most comprehensive and up to date property and casualty insurance glossary or dictionary. - Lucitech's Insurance Related Links for US Vendors and Agencies
Lucitech, Inc. maintains a nice list of vendors and agencies related to surplus lines insurance distribution. - Real-Time Best Practices
"Agency 'Real-Time' Best Practice Workflows and Implementation Strategies, Guidance for Carriers & Vendors" is authored by the Real Time/Download Campaign. They formed a Real Time Agency Experience Work Group to identify the key distinguishing characteristics of real-time workflows provided by carriers and vendors that have resulted in the best agency experiences. The work group hopes the following recommendations will prompt an industry discussion as to how Real Time should continue to evolve in the future as we move to the next phase in Real Time implementations. We also hope our recommendations will assist carriers and vendors as they continue to improve their real-time functionality for their agents and lead to even greater agency adoption and usage.
